Copyright and Fair Use are similar in that they are both dealing with technology, while not closely related they do share some key details. Copyright protects intellectual property from others gaining profits or recognition without the explicit authorization of the creator. Fair Use allows for some elements or all of a common intellectual property to be used without the user having to request and authorization for us, allowing for "fair use".
Academic dishonesty is a very tough subject, especially nowadays with the introduction of AI that can write papers, complete excel sheets, etc. Addressing this in a classroom setting will be very difficult, especially with the fact that you can't prove without solid evidence, usually in the form of technology, that a student is cheating. This goes hand in hand with the other issue, student privacy, when students have personal computers it is nearly impossible to search that computer for evidence without needing special authorization. One of the only true ways to help is by requiring that all students submit assignments through public, school computers, to ensure that not AI or cheating was used.
There is plenty I can improve on in my newsletter, Canva is a tool I have significantly progressed in and wish to get better at for the sake of my career. However, one aspect I can really work on is Word Art, as I am absolutely horrendous at it. I have never been good at it and never really used it either, however when it comes to students and school children, it is important to have that as it grabs their attention. As you can tell in the assignment, I did not do a great job at that and the Word Art is rather lack-luster to be quite honest.
