 My name is Billy Sorsby, however my full name is William John Sorsby. I am currently enrolled at FSU and plan on graduating as soon as I can. I say this because I am a full time student but also a full time employee within a family business. Our company, Arrowhead Global LLC. is in the Aerospace and Defense public contracting business, and are located out of Clearwater, Florida. I am a huge hockey fan and currently play for the FSU team as well as being the Social Chair for our executive board. I grew up playing hockey in Florida which to most is very weird but it is all I have ever known, my family are all hockey players and originate from the greater Boston area.

My prior experiences with technology in an educational setting include the use of technology primarily in high school. This was typically through school PC systems in a "computer lab" or teachers using interactive presentations while in the classroom. I first got a laptop when I went to college for the purpose of my education, as you almost can't do college without one, which is a bad barrier to entry. However, I have become proficient in applications such as Canva, Canvas, Microsoft Office, and others since my time here at FSU. I would not call myself a tech wizard by any means or even proficient but I was originally a computer science major and was allowed to mess around with some fun, educational technology during my time as that major.

My PLN consists of many different resources and people. many of which are online resources and tools I use in my everyday life to further my educational goals. As for learning resources, I use the school library on a weekly basis as a study center and for academic research, especially when I had classes for my major, which I have now completed all classes for. I also use OneDrive on a consistent basis to store important documents for both work and education, this allows me to never accidentally lose an assignment, memo, or quote.
