 Data collection surveys are incredibly important tools used to gauge a students knowledge, performance, etc. So I believe I would use it similar to how FSU does end of semester surveys, being to rate the overall course and the overall professor. I would use this especially my first few years teaching, mostly to see what works and what doesn't work so I can become a better teacher for my students. This would be most effective at the K-5 level as more parents are involved and students are more likely to answer honestly rather than a high school student who just wants to submit it and get it over with.

What I found most interesting was seeing what everyone's newsletters were and how they would design them towards a specific age group. Some people have the inherent ability to cater towards the youth and it shows, especially the K-5 level. I on the other hand do not, I have worked in a professional setting for 4 years now and I am accustom to that level of learning, design, and teaching. When I design a lesson plan, I leave little room for aesthetic design towards the youth that would garner their attention.

Although it does not relate to this class at all I am currently learning to operate and run an Amazon storefront as a regional distributor which I  think is pretty cool. Like I am literally at my office right now typing this as I am watching videos and presentations. It involves a lot of understanding in new user interface and data analytics but isn't too hard compared to other UI I have had to use in the past, especially government run UI. I am really looking forward to getting this up and running since I am the only one in our small company that has the technical capabilities to run this efficiently and should hopefully make my life a little easier now that I am no longer distributing out of my garage!

       Diigo is an interesting tool to say the least, I really do enjoy the group sharing experience it provides. I use a similar tool for my other classes that are very research based called Zotero. While Zotero is a great tool for saving and extracting information from articles and research studies, there is no way to share it directly to a forum with peers. Diigo excels at the Web 2.0 design where there is multi-user interaction.     I personally am rather unbiased towards blogging, I enjoy the aspect of being able to write in the first person as I mostly have only ever written in the third. It really allows me to express my opinion in ways I couldn't have before, as I typically only write research based essays and nothing too opinionated. I have learned so far that blogging is more than just writing your opinion with little to no evidence, but it is more so an opinionated research study.  My experiences using Twitter have been rather pleasant. As compared to using Twitter for personal use and all that nonsense, using it for this class has been much more civil and friendly. The app has a lot of VERY opinionated people and they will let you know that, but when it is focused solely on objective based statistics and education there is less bias and online rage from people. This is not to say it is obsolete of this behavior as it has sadly creeped in under every known Twitter account, including our Department of Education. The digital divide greatly affects student success in schools, while it was much less prominent when I was in grade school I believe it has a greater emphasis now. One of the best examples of this is COVID, if you were a student in a low-income area where the school district could not supply students with desktops and computers for zoom, chances are you are left behind compared to students who had access to this.
