I believe one of the key takeaways from learning about assistive technologies is that it should not be viewed as "going the extra mile" to accommodate students who need special assistance. Re put it perfectly, the law requires it so it should be expected just as much as a student who would learn without these technologies. I believe finding assistive technologies and learning them ourselves would be easiest when we become educators to accommodate a student that way you do not have to play catch up as they are trying to learn with the rest of the class. I also think by looking for more options it will help students who can't use the tools provided.

From Diigo, I have learned how to be resourceful with storing and sharing websites/documents. While I regularly use another program that saves documents for me easier, however it does not allow the ability to share documents to a group. I believe it is useful in a less professional setting, a service that would work better in a workplace for a similar purpose is Microsoft Teams. Yet, I still believe it is ever so helpful for storing websites and making notes.

A website I use is here, it posts unbiased educational content on technological advancements. I like to stay up to date with technology in general as my job relies heavily on technology, although it is hardly for educational use. There is great opportunity for teachers to become involved in technology as they can point students in the right direction for specific needs. One thing that concerns me however, is there openness to using AI in educational places as a substitute for normal textbooks.
